I miss Malaysian Time.
(I wonder if I put it in the correct term)

So.
It's almost the end of the semester and the holiday is just around the roundabout.
thus I decided to write this post.
It is because when you talk about something you miss or long for,the more your feeling will grow.
But since I'm going back in a few weeks(hooray),it's alright for me to bring to mind the thing that I miss.
klau aku x blik, xdak nya aku nk tulis, sbb nnt rs sedih.boo hoo hoo

Well.
Most of my fellow students from Malaysia miss their family and friends, second by Malaysian dishes.
That is not the case for me,for I argue that you can simply call your F&F(family and friends) and you can cook yourself the dishes you crave or with luck, buy it here.(okay, okay,it is not the same feeling talking through the phone or eating Laksa at oversea.)

However the point is the 'lost' can be compensated.
Except for the difference of daylight time.
That's why I miss Malaysian time.
The four seasons experienced here and the change of daylight/night time somehow bothers me,up to the point I wish,
"kan best kat msia."

A few situations that illuminate my feelings.

1. Thunder,thunder,thundercat!

Back in Malaysia, kids would run home as the dusk approaches.Partly for the fact that is a belief to avoid mishaps(main la maghrib2,nnt kena....),
and partly because it is almost 7 p.m.
Time for cartoons!
Before 24-7 cartoon channels were widespread, 7 p.m. was the prime hour for children's entertainment.
I don't know why but maybe the television channel decided kids like to watch after they had perspired heavily,or maybe because the parents would likely to scold the kids for lounging in front of the box, damped with sweat, which in turn will induce the kids to be adamant and watch the programs to the end, only in wanting to defy their parents.
Anyway, the prime hour for children's program is also around 7 p.m. here in Germany.
quite peculiar.
However, dusk doesn't coincide with the programs, not like in Malaysia.
"Eh,dah maghrib.Bukak tv,ada spongebob."
"Alamak,dh pkul 9.Aku ingat pukul 7"
"Dem!Ni yg nk blik msia ni.Tgk doremon"

2. Subuh is sooo early.
Either you don't sleep and wait for Subuh,or you sleep early right after Isya´ and then wake up.I practice the former, since the latter would usually fail.
So I would sleep late and hence wake up late.
"bangun pagi,gosok gigi..eh!dah petang."
So sad.
Subuh in Malaysia is much at the same time all the year round.
It is like a feeling of reliability,a comfort zone.
The hustle and bustle after early pray somehow kick starts the day.
Some mornings were so quiet and peaceful, that you feel so peaceful and tranquilized that you won't fall when you jump.(insert your favourite music here)

Of course here you wake up so late-since you Subuh before going to sleep-that you missed all the morning dews and fresh, pristine air.
All you hear is your loud stomach rumbling.
Which brings me to the next point

3. Your biology clock goes haywire.

Biology clock is some kind of a clock(duh!) inside our body that sends signals at certain time to the body.Such as when sleepy or hungry. This inexpensive clock relies(I think so) significantly on the surroundings,e.g. daylight.
example
After 20 years accustomed to eating dinner when the sun fully set,I still tend to do so.
Thus I eat dinner at midnight.
Because Isya´ is around 2330.
Pity my tummy.(hey,that rhymes!)

And I've also read somewhere that some chemicals kicks in when it's dark,so that you feel sleepy.Daylight deviation here causes those 'sleepy chemicals' to kick in at such unusual times, that it misses the goal.
I sleep at peculiar times here in Germany.
For example,I would feel very sleepy when I read books and notes. It never happened to me before in Malaysia.
.....
What?
Don't believe eh?

Conclusion
In a nougat bits, people will always find things to complain and compare.
Anyway,15 days to go.
Cuti!Horay!
Oh, forgot.I have exam before that.
I keep forgetting that.Must be the daylight-thingy stuff.
I wonder how the people in the poles acclimatize.
