Pro in the name means it's good?

I am always baffled when asked what is my favourite car. It is not because I have never seen a car, but it is because I can hardly remember a car's name. Mind you, I can differentiate a Mercs to a Beemer(by looking at the symbol at the front, that is) but other than that, I'll admit I am hopeless. Don't ask me whether he bought a 3 or 5 series or what-not, I can differentiate it no better than I can differentiate the series HIMYM to the local news.


Occasionally a few of the male friends would post something related to cars such as Topgear etc on facebook, though the posters are mostly medic students. I do watch/read automative related news from time to time but the zeal showed by these guys clearly surpasses me. Maybe we made the incorrect choice?
A mechanical student but have little interest in cars? 
My brother was surprised knowing that I'm not interested that much in cars, "habis macam mana nak kerja nanti? takkan tak minat kereta langsung?" The questions left me wondering for a while, which after that I began to decide to dream.

I began to look at cars, meaning try to register their names and slight difference of design. how the back tilt a bit, how the front lights curve etc but after a while I gave up. I then thought, what's the use of a car? 
What's so interesting about a single car? Why not go for something more useful? Hence I came to the conclusion, my dream 'car' is to own the public transportation. Haha


Crazy idea heh? Well, it's a dream, so I might as well have it big, right? Still, I admit it is crazy but hey! living for 3 months in Malaysia with the public transportation problem sure would lead to some emotional distress. If you have been reading this blog for a while, you should notice how I comment(complain) about the quality of the system back home. So if my dream 'car' ever becomes a reality, now you can b*tch it out and call me names like I am doing now! Hoyeah, that is awesome, getting thrashed by people you don't know.


However, it is not my intention to let the system deteriorate or "berada di takuk yang lama", if it were up to me. I already have a few ideas for my dream 'car', such as better network to more parts in the country, better roads for the Borneo, cheaper integrated system- all I will write more about in another post. I know the idea sounds naive and ludicrous, as I am sure if I were to tell it to anyone it'll illicit a few gags, but I really believe you really need not limit your thinking in order to 'design' changes. Reality is ever present(we shouldn't think, but I really wish people would stop being so negative in wanting a change.
Jadi dengan ini, saya ingin mengajak anda ke kenduri saya berfikir tentang cara memperbaiki sistem pengangkutan Malaysia. It doesn't matter if you write it out, talk to your friends, write a letter to the ministry of Transport or just even keep in your mind, it's already a start if everybody wants to think about it.

So that one day, if you somehow manage to own my dream 'car', you won't be lost on what to do with it.

However for now, if some acquaintance were to ask me what's my favourite car, I'll prolly go with the favourites.

"Mercs macam smart jugak. BM boleh tahan." After that the conversation would like consist me most nodding and the other guy talking. Sometimes it's just too hard to tell people what you REALLY think
