Sennn!!!

I have just watched Spirited Away two days ago.
It was Amazing.
I am usually skeptic of over hyped film, thus I myself would not do the mistake of praising it too much. However I do recommend for those who haven't watch it, to do so.

In the film, there was a time where Sen/Chihiro had to go and visit the old sorceress Zeniba in order to save her friend. To go there, she had to take a one-way train before arriving at Booty Swamp, the stop to Zeniba's house.Along the way, the train passes a few stations and what's unique in the film is that other passengers on the train and even people waiting at the stops were depicted in silhouette.

What I interpret from that was life is like a train sometimes. You are on a one-way trip where you vaguely know where you are going to in the end but have no clear idea how the end might be. And the silhouettes are strangers, or people you do know yet that you happen to travel with. Sometimes you decide to stop at one of the stations, spending time on it and in the process probably meeting the silhouettes there. Slowly they grew clearer, their features stood up and the colours starts to appear. Some might even be so vibrant, that they light up the station you are on, shedding hue of colour on you thus if you look at your palm you will see yours a light shade of theirs, be it red, blue, yellow or any colour possible imagined.

The whistle would then shrill, reminding you that it was just a stop, a station along the way of your journey. You step on the train and bid goodbye at the people you met. Your heart will be a tad sad leaving those vibrant characters, most heavy when you liked their colour. The people who colour your life.

Looking down, your palms begin to dim. Only when you hold them to the rocking light of the carriage, that you see they are not exactly the same as before you stopped, a slight streak was left. But that is how you continue your journey, by meeting and departing, watching silhouettes turn into colours and fade again.

Once in all those stops, there will be some that grew so brightly, that you have passed a few trains for rather being under the warmth of their colour. However eventually you will still had to leave them behind, just like all the others. Or so you thought. As the next train comes, you step on it and turn back, raising your hands just like to the other but instead of waving goodbye you were lending your hand. The colour you decided to bring with you. The colour I chose.

And I choose white, with a strike of red around the eye.
