its kinda ironic,that's why, because when people want to commit themselves revising(be it at the last minute or not),one of the common thing said is to have the Momentum to study.
The usage of Momentum is INCORRECT!
Mainly because when a person study,he/she sits still(although there are exceptional cases).Thus when an object(student) sits still,its speed is zero, resulting in zero momentum.
Some may argue that Momentum is metaphorically speaking,that is the student needs to start to revise at some point,an initial speed which sustains itself throughout the session.However an object that continue moving persist only when there is no outside force.Friction(fb,ebay,movie,dota) for example will hinder the object's movement.
So somehow i don't feel the use of Momentum is appropriate.

Personally I think a peaceful situation is a must to study.

so the longer the time spent revising,the larger the stress on the person.In order to avoid brain malfunction and from going loco,naturally one must stop from time to time.Perhaps relaxing(water flowing out of the container) or explaining to others (water flowing at faster rate).
However if the time spent revising is not up to par,futile it is.For

Inlet flow rate=Outlet flow rate + change of volume in Kontrollraum

Kontrollraum(Controlroom) is the brain metaphorically speaking.If the volume in it is too high(high pressure),it will stress the brain.If it is too low(no water), you might as well spent the agonizing minutes to other more interesting activities.
