The one that is made from clear crystal glass,with 'Made in Russia' can be read at the bottom and also a dishwasher safe sign not to forget.Still don't get what I'm referring to?
Do go to Ikea and you can surely find it.cheapest one,50 cents(in Germany that is)
Anyway.
I normally only drink clear water with the glass.
Distilled or not,boiled or whatever,but normally only clear water.
However over time smudges and marks still appear on the glass.
Sometimes when I stop to think and see the glass with the smudges,it occurred to me that our soul is like the glass somehow.Even when you are in a nice surrounding,unexposed to the worlds ugliness and you believe you are at your best, your heart still got tainted.Just like the glass.
So I wash the glass occasionally.
Even after being used for weird milkshakes or drinks once a while.Those that leave the glass murky and appearing the colour of the drink.
However after being washed,the glass is back to crystal perfect,no matter how dirty it is.Which reminds me that no matter how lost a person is,how bad he seems to be,if by Allah's will he is to turn to a new leaf,then like the glass he would be clean and new.
It's peculiar how simple things make you think.
